Botania Seeds

This addon for the Botania mod adds the ability to grow all 16 types of mystical flowers from seeds. Some changes have also been made that make obtaining mystical flowers a more challenging process.

The mod was originally created for the Stardew Valley-style modpack "Society: Capital Hill", but now it exists as a standalone modification and will be maintained separately.

Growing Mystical Flowers

Each type of mystical flower now has its own seeds that are crafted from regular seeds and Minecraft dyes. These recipes can and should be modified if you plan to restrict access to Botania in your modpack.

Changes to Botania

The following adjustments have been made to the base Botania mod to make flower cultivation more logical:

• Mystical flowers and shimmering mushrooms no longer spawn naturally in the world (this can be changed using datapacks)
• Shimmering mushrooms now require petals to craft, making them more decorative
• Buried petals can no longer be fertilized with bone meal to grow into tall flowers, eliminating the possibility of infinite petal duplication

Compatibility

The mod requires installation of Botania by vazkii version 447 and above. It will likely be compatible with future Botania updates.
