Bountiful Critters

This mod adds various animals to Minecraft that make your game world more lively and interesting. From leisurely ocean fish to noisy birds - you'll find numerous creatures for collecting and decorating your base or creating zoos. Some of them have unique mechanics and items.

New Mobs

Sunfish - inhabits cold and normal oceans, has different variants for each biome. Can be caught with a bucket and carried with you. Cooked meat gives a chance to get the water breathing effect.

Sting Ray - found in cold oceans, warm oceans, and swamps, with variations based on real species. Be careful - they can sting when approached!

Emu - birds living in wooded badlands. Lay eggs like chickens. Eggs can be "boiled" in a furnace or smoker. When breeding or throwing an egg, a cute baby with unique texture appears.

Krill - small schooling creatures in frozen and cold oceans. Drops raw krill that can be cooked to get fried krill. In version 1.2.0, raw krill is also used to make krill cocktail.

Marine Iguana - funny reptiles on stony shores. Have 5 variants, breed with kelp, can be caught with a bucket. After a few minutes, they sneeze out salt, which is used to craft salted kelp or a salt lamp. Salted kelp may give the dolphin's grace effect. When fed seagrass, the iguana spits it back out as a seagrass ball - a sticky substance that acts like glue. Can also create a seagrass ball block for decoration or as an alternative to slimeballs.

Longhorn Cow - large cows in savanna. When hurt, they attack the player. When blocked with a shield, there's a chance of dropping a horn for crafting a didgeridoo. Can be milked and tamed with grass!

Pillbug - funny arthropods in forests that can climb. Attack undead mobs. When approached, they roll up into a ball unless crouching. In rolled-up state, can be used as a weapon; in unrolled state, can be placed in a flower pot. When dying, drops pillbug scute and raw pillbug item that can be cooked. Roasted pillbug is placeable like a cake. With poison effect, they turn purple (iridovirus) and upon death drop poisonous items. Scutes are used to craft pillblock blocksets.

Toucan - tropical birds with large beaks in jungles. Two variants, tamed with melon slices, quite noisy.

Humpback Whale - majestic sea animals in deep cold oceans. Feed on krill, breed with raw krill. When fed sand, red sand, or gravel, they filter it and blow out treasure.

Lion - essential inhabitants for Minecraft zoos, true kings of the jungle. Can be tamed, future plans include armor equipment. Perfect base guards.

Gecko - small colorful reptiles in jungles. When monsters are near, they scream loudly as a warning. Caught with reptile bags!

Fiddle String Snake - funny snakes in jungles, very fast. To catch with a snake hook, you'll need speedy boots.

Pheasant - majestic birds in all forest biomes. When killed, give delicious meat and possibly a fancy-looking feather.

The mod requires GeckoLib to function properly.
