Broken Discs - Music Disc Fragments

The Broken Discs modification enriches the game with a system of music disc fragments, making the process of obtaining them more diverse and logical.

Main Features

The mod introduces fragments for each standard music disc from the base game. By collecting a certain number of these parts, you can craft complete vinyl records.

Obtaining Methods

• Aggressive mobs: Can drop fragments for all discs except Pigstep. Base drop chance is 0.5%

  forge:disc_fragment_monsters

• Piglins: Exclusively for the Pigstep disc. Drop chance is 2%

  forge:disc_fragment_piglin

• Wandering Trader: Offers fragments for Far, Otherside, Pigstep, and 11 discs. Drop probability is quite high - 80%

  forge:disc_fragment_wandering_trader

Disc Crafting

Combine 9 identical fragments to create a music disc. The exception is disc 11, which requires only 8 parts.

Compatibility with Other Mods

The mod supports integration with the following additions:

• Redwolf's Music Mod: Adds "The Lost Soul" fragment, obtainable from the Wandering Trader
• Unusual End (version 1.1.2+): Includes "Flying Ships" fragment, also available through the Wandering Trader

Customization

All fragment drop probabilities can be configured in the mod's configuration file.
