Brooms Mod

Adds balanced and functional brooms to Minecraft.

This project was created as part of SpookyJam 2021 and offers players a new way to travel through the game world.

Brooms serve as a convenient vehicle that can be used for flying. Simply press space to ascend into the air. When the flight duration is depleted, the broom automatically descends to the ground to recharge - similar to how mounts work in Terraria.

To unlock the full potential of your broom, it's recommended to enchant it. The mod includes four special enchantments that significantly enhance your flying vehicle's characteristics.

Available Enchantments:

All enchantments can only be obtained from chests, trading, or enchanted books. Each one improves the broom in different ways:

Air Skills - increases flight speed by 20% per level (maximum 3 levels). Incompatible with Land Skills.

Land Skills - boosts ground movement speed by 20% per level (up to 3 levels). Incompatible with Air Skills.

Hovering - extends maximum flight time by 25% per level (up to 4 levels).

Seabreeze - allows the broom to slow down and recharge when flying over water, enabling continued flight.
