BTWR: Core - Core Mod for Better Than Wolves Remastered

This is the central module for the upcoming "Better Than Wolves: Remastered!" modpack, which introduces numerous changes to gameplay while preserving the spirit of the original BTW mod. The mod can be used independently or in combination with additional BTWR modules for the complete gaming experience.

New In-Game Features

Hemp has been added to Minecraft as an agricultural crop. It can be used to produce hemp fibers, fabric, and ropes. An interesting mechanic of shearing creepers has appeared - using shears, you can neutralize these mobs and obtain unique items.

The brick-making process has become more realistic - they now need to be sun-dried. Many new food products have been added that can be combined to discover new cooking recipes. Wooden and bone clubs have been added to the player's arsenal, along with special items like creeper oysters.

The leather processing system has been expanded: now available are scoured and tanned leather variants, as well as cutting for all three types (normal, scoured, tanned). For greater immersion, sound effects have been added when crafting certain items.

Changes to Standard Gameplay

Mobs and animals no longer receive knockback from attacks without weapons - this only works when using clubs, swords, bows, crossbows, or tridents. This feature can be disabled through the mod menu.

The spawning of baby zombies has been disabled (also configurable through the mod menu). Diamond armor recipes have been changed for better balance.

Additional Modules

Complementary mods have already been released for the core module: Sturdy Trees, Tough Environment, Mobs Always Drop, Im 'movens, Hardcore Fluid Overhaul, and In The Gloom, which expand the gaming possibilities.
