Mod Description

This modification brings to life a popular meme from the Minecraft technical community. When the mod is activated, any item destroyed by a cactus goes into global storage, from where it can be retrieved using hoppers.

Technical Details

To support practically unlimited capacity, cacti don't actually store items in stacks, meaning there's no order inside the storage. When a hopper tries to pull an item into an empty slot, it selects a random one from the storage. The chosen item depends on a random number generator, not hashmap key order. When the first available slot contains an item, the system will attempt to pull the same one.

If multiple hoppers simultaneously extract items from the storage, changes are processed sequentially for each active hopper per game tick.
