Can I Join Now?

Can I Join Now? is a minimalist mod with one clear purpose: it updates the server's MOTD to display the current in-game time and indicate whether it's safe to join the world.

Unlike Minecraft's standard time format (0-23999), the mod converts it to a familiar 24-hour format. The safe period for joining is from 05:27 to 18:31 (according to game logic), while 18:32 to 05:26 is considered unsafe. This makes the information more understandable for players.

Safety status is displayed through text color: green for safe time, red for dangerous time (as visible in the image).

The dimension used for time checking can be configured in the configuration file (default is the Overworld).

This mod is server-side only and compatible with vanilla Minecraft clients. If installed on a client, nothing will happen—client-side functionality is disabled.

Dependencies

The mod has no additional dependencies.

Modpacks

You can freely use this mod in any modpack. The only restriction is that you cannot generate direct income from the modpack itself (streaming and ads in the launcher are acceptable).
