Canopy Mod: Tropical Rainforests in Minecraft

Discover the amazing world of tropical rainforests with the Canopy mod! This addon introduces diverse jungle ecosystems to the game with unique vegetation, animals, and resources.

New Biomes

The mod presents several types of rainforests, each with its own characteristics:

Tropical Rainforest - a foggy biome with giant trees located near regular jungles. It consists of three layers: the canopy, understory, and forest floor. Here you can find banana trees, sweet berry bushes, various mushrooms, ferns, and many exotic plants.

Bamboo Rainforest - a variety dominated by bamboo. In addition to standard vegetation, pandas and other forest inhabitants live here.

Muddy Rainforest - a variant with muddy soil resembling mangrove swamps. The unique landscape creates a special atmosphere for exploration.

Plant Life

The mod adds impressive mega kapok trees 60-70 blocks tall that form the upper forest layer. There are also regular kapok trees that create the understory, and banana trees 4-10 blocks tall that grow in all types of rainforests.

Animal World

Populate your world with exotic creatures:

• Toucans (4 color variants that can be tamed with berries and Brazil nuts)
• Poison dart frogs (a new frog variant that poisons anything it touches)
• Monkeys (love bananas!)

Blocks and Items

The mod includes various new blocks: rafflesia flower, kapok block set, kapok leaves, liana vines, banana stalks and leaves, banana bunches, and flowers.

Among the new items are Brazil nuts (when used, crack into 2 shells and 1 shelled nut), rafflesia petals, and bananas (restore 4 hunger points and 2 saturation points).

Important: The mod requires TerraBlender version 4.0.0.2 to work. Elements marked with (*) are under development.
