The Cardinal Ice Boats mod offers a set of useful tools for ice boat riding that significantly simplify control and enhance usability.

Main Features

Universal Functions

These functions work whether installed on the server or client!

Automatic Placement Alignment When placing a boat on ice surface, it automatically orients itself to cardinal directions - north, south, east, west, or at 45-degree angles.

Client-Only Features

Turn Preparation Pressing the ← or → keys (configurable) prepares a turn. When your turn comes up, the boat stops and automatically rotates 90 degrees!

Manual Alignment If the boat loses its cardinal orientation, pressing the ↑ key (configurable) returns it to the nearest cardinal direction or 45-degree angle.

Instant Reversal Need to turn around? Pressing the ↓ key (configurable) instantly rotates your boat 180 degrees!

Smart Centering Pressing the \ key (configurable) instantly centers your boat on the ice. If you're near a wall, the boat will shift off-center just enough to avoid collision. This also happens automatically after every turn by default.

Configurable Controls All control keys can be configured in the standard Minecraft controls menu!
