Carpet Weird Addons

Carpet Weird Addons is an extension for Fabric Carpet that adds numerous unusual and interesting features to Minecraft. This mod offers various settings and mechanics that can change the familiar gameplay experience.

Main Features

Observer Management

• observerDelay - allows changing the activation delay time of observers
• observerPulse - configures the pulse duration of observers

Piston Mechanics

• fastPistons - pistons extend and retract with only 1 tick delay
• movableMovingPiston - makes moving pistons movable (requires MovableBlockEntities to be enabled)

Enhanced Sponges

• spongeUpdate - sponges create block updates when absorbing water
• spongeEverything - sponges can absorb any blocks
• spongeLava - sponges absorb lava instead of water
• spongeInfinite - removes all restrictions from sponges
• spongeFaster - accelerated sponge operation without creating block updates
• spongeReusable - sponges do not become wet after use
• spongeAbsorbsExplosions - sponges prevent damage from block explosions

Crystal Effects

• crystalOverdose - End Crystals explode when damaged by explosions and create chain reactions

Enchantment Settings

• enchantmentOverride - allows enchanting items beyond standard limits using the /enchant command

Accelerated Mechanics

• instantLiquidFlow - instant liquid flow
• fastLiquidFlow - all liquid updates occur within one tick
• fastTileTicks - all block updates occur in the next tick
• instantFall - instant block falling

Additional Functions

• preventBreaking - prevents all players from breaking blocks
• totallyLegitElytra - elytras do not take damage from flight
• blockTransparency - all blocks behave as transparent
• worldborderNotSpecial - everything works normally beyond the world border

/weird Command

The main mod command provides chunk management:

/weird chunk <watch|set|radius|start|stop>

• watch - enable/disable chunk watching
• set - set the chunk to watch
• radius - configure the watch radius
• start - start displaying chunks
• stop - stop displaying chunks

Chunk Legend

• 🔴 Red - inaccessible chunks
• ⚫ Black - null chunks
• 🟤 Dark gray - null status
• ⚪ Gray - border chunks
• 🟢 Green - ticking chunks
• 🟩 Dark green - entity processing chunks
• 🟣 Purple - chunk with player
• ◎ Chunk with redstone lamp
• ☻ Chunk with your character
