Cat Amulets

This mod adds a unique amulet system for cats in Minecraft that can grant you additional health hearts. Start with the basic health amulet and then expand its capabilities with other amulets.

You can obtain up to 10 additional hearts if there are 10 or more cats with amulets within the effective radius. Crafting recipes can be found in the image gallery.

NOTE: Cats do not change their appearance after receiving amulets.

Health Amulet

Throw the amulet at a cat to equip it. This creature will grant you an additional heart when you are within 8 blocks. The effect stacks when multiple cats with amulets are nearby (maximum 10 hearts). Using the amulet also renames the animal, so use name tags only after installing the amulet. Works even with untamed cats.

Range Extension Amulet

This amulet can only be equipped after applying the health amulet. It extends the effect radius from 8 blocks to 24 blocks.

Dimensional Linking Amulet

Available only after using both the health amulet and the range extension amulet. Removes cats' ability to restore health when the owner is nearby - instead, the animal must stand on a charged respawn anchor. When this condition is met, the cat transfers hearts to the owner regardless of distance, provided they are in loaded chunks. Gradually consumes anchor charges, eventually requiring recharging.
