Caterpillar Mod - Automated Mining System

The Caterpillar mod introduces an innovative mining rig that automatically creates 3×3 block tunnels, significantly simplifying the resource extraction process. The system is built on a modular principle, allowing users to customize the equipment according to their specific needs by adding or excluding various components.

Key System Components:

Base Unit

The fundamental element of the entire construction, serving as the foundation for assembling all modules of the installation.

Drill Head

The key module responsible for direct rock tunneling and equipped with built-in material storage.

Resource Collector

Automatically collects all mined materials, freeing the player from manual gathering.

Support System

Installs torches and support structures, ensuring the safety of created tunnels.

Tunneling Complex

Specialized equipment for eliminating lava, water, loose soil, and other obstacles during tunnel construction.

Storage

Expansion module for storing significant volumes of extracted materials.

Drill Head Types

The system supports several drill head variants made from different materials:

• Stone head
• Iron head

• Diamond head

Upgrade Process

Modules can be sequentially improved according to the following scheme: Wood → Stone → Iron → Diamond
