Caurum

This mod introduces significant changes to the gameplay mechanics concerning golden tools. It specifically slows down the mining speed of fragile blocks when using golden tools, making them perfect for careful excavation in sensitive areas such as amethyst geodes.

The system operates through the use of special tags. The list of blocks affected by the slowdown effect is determined by the caurum:fragile_blocks tag. And the list of items that exhibit slowed mining is controlled by the caurum:careful_miners tag.

Currently, the mining speed multiplier is set at 0.2, providing significant slowing. The developers are considering making this setting configurable in future updates if there is sufficient interest from the community.
