Cave Update (Fabric)

Caves in Minecraft have long remained without significant changes - since version 1.13, they only received underwater variations, and the base generation hasn't been fundamentally altered since version 1.7. The mod author decided not to wait for an official update and create their own extensive overhaul of the underground world.

Global Transformation of Dungeons

Cave Update aims to bring as much content to caves as update 1.16 added to the Nether - if not more. This is an ambitious goal, but the developer is confident in its achievability. Currently, the mod is in early development, and configuration files for fine-tuning are planned for the future.
