Chance Globe
Chance Globe is a unique block that, when placed in the Minecraft world, functions similarly to loot boxes in other games. After 10 seconds of placement, it generates a random block or item from the entire available in-game assortment, replacing itself with the dropped block or throwing out the item. It's important to note that the result can be absolutely anything - from a simple stick or dirt block to valuable diamond blocks or even a Nether star! Everything depends solely on luck, so we wish you good fortune.
In version 1.19.3, it should be considered that content from experimental data packs can only be obtained when the corresponding datapack is activated.
Crafting
To create Chance Globe, the following recipe is used (when crafting, you immediately receive 5 pieces). Any types of planks and glass are suitable:
Configuration
The mod offers four configuration parameters:
- filtered_blocks - blocks whose registry names (for example, minecraft:grass) are present in this list will be filtered
- filtered_items - items whose registry names (for example, minecraft:stick) are in this list will be filtered
- filter_mode - value 0 activates blacklist (all blocks/items from the specified lists are excluded from randomization), value 1 enables whitelist (only blocks/items from the lists participate in randomization)
- enable_filter - true enables filtering of blocks/items according to the selected mode, false disables filtering, allowing Chance Globe to use all available blocks and items
By default, filters are enabled and configured as a blacklist containing such blocks and items as bedrock, command blocks, barriers, and others.
