Changeling Origin

This mod introduces the Changeling Origin - a mysterious creature capable of assuming the forms of defeated beings.

Changelings are shape-shifters who can take on the appearances of other creatures. As their descendant, you have inherited this ability, though activating it requires a blood sacrifice.

Features and Capabilities

Shape-shifting (toggle ability) - allows you to transform into the next creature you kill. If you are already in an altered form, you will revert to your original appearance.

Using Form Ability (active ability) - activates the special ability of your current form. A complete list of available abilities can be found in the woodwalkers wiki.

Losing Form Upon Death - after dying, you return to your original form.

Configuration

If you wish to restrict transformation into certain creatures, add them to tags/entity_types/denylist. By default, the following are prohibited: Wither, Ender Dragon, and Vex.

Important Note

If you are already using the woodwalkers mod, installing this addition is not recommended, as it will limit the transformation mechanic exclusively to Changelings.
