Chaos Core Mod

This modification was created for experienced survivors who want to test their skills in Minecraft's harshest conditions. It is also ideal for balancing packs with overpowered equipment, where standard enemies no longer pose a threat. Chaos Core remains true to the vanilla atmosphere of the game, maintaining its spirit while significantly increasing the gameplay difficulty.

Key Features

The mod's difficulty progresses as you advance. Here are the challenges awaiting you at the maximum difficulty level:

  • Creatures spawn with non-removable armor, weapons, and sometimes totems (often enchanted)
  • Mobs have a chance to receive various potion effects
  • Enemies can spawn riding spiders, phantoms, dolphins, and even turtles
  • Increased number of zombie children and chicken jockeys
  • Significantly increased hostile spawns
  • Zombie generals in full netherite, diamond, or iron armor with two totems
  • Any mob capable of picking up loot will definitely do so
  • Enhanced creepers and ghasts with more balanced characteristics
  • "Blood moon" event with mass enemy spawning (on all difficulty levels)
  • Appearance of zombie horses during rain and thunderstorms (untamable, disappear with their rider)
  • Complete mod deactivation with one command /function chaos:unload_world

Difficulty Settings

Set the difficulty with the command: /trigger chaos_core_setdifficulty<level>

Available levels: vanilla, easy, normal, hard, chaos or auto

Manual configuration always informs the player about changes. Auto mode (set by default) calculates difficulty based on your achievements. Getting diamonds gives +1 point, full diamond armor +2, netherite armor +6, defeating the Ender Dragon +8. Maximum of 86 points. The game respects the player with the most points.

Enemy Abilities

Most mobs receive a set of random armor or enchanted weapons. The rarity of equipment depends on the overall difficulty - fully armored netherite zombies spawn very rarely. Mobs never drop gear given by the mod, except for initial vanilla equipment.

The spawn rate of enhanced enemies is significantly increased. Each spider can spawn with a cave spider, sometimes riding on it. Skeletons can ride phantoms, drowned ones - on dolphins or turtles.

Particular dangers include special epidemic situations with increased baby spawns and the frequency chance of constructing multiple totems.

Blood Moon

During the new moon, a special event is activated. Various creatures begin to spawn massively across the world, actively pursuing the player. You can wait out the event in shelter or skip until morning, but on the open terrain it turns into real chaos.

Useful Tips

Beginners are recommended to start with easy or normal modes - these levels compare to classical hardcore difficulty. For taming reinforced mobs, strategically placing boats as traps is effective. The mod is ideal for those who want to diversify their world with random events without excess difficulty.
