Charken

Lore and Background

65 million years ago, dinosaurs ruled the Earth but went extinct. Recently, miners discovered a new species they named the Charken. Scientists managed to extract DNA from this species and bring it back to life. The creature turned out to resemble a chicken, and when scientists showed it a real chicken, the Charken began hiding from it.

Over time, scientists created more of these creatures, but one day they escaped from their enclosure. Now they roam freely throughout the world. Few people have managed to tame these creatures. It was also discovered that they love bright light and will follow players holding a redstone torch.

After the escape, all Charkens clucked loudly, attracting egg-shaped meteors. These crashed to Earth with tremendous force, transforming the area where the Charkens escaped into an egg biome. Inside the meteorites were strange creatures called Yolktriens - essentially flying sunny-side-up eggs with eyes! Stay safe out there and report your sightings.

Game Features

This mod adds a mob that attacks both villagers and players. The creature possesses significant strength, so exercise caution when encountering it.

Compatibility

Versions for Minecraft 1.20.1 work with Forge and NeoForge.
