Chat Heads

This client-side mod adds small player heads next to chat messages, as shown in the screenshot above. This visual design significantly simplifies identifying interlocutors in group conversations and gives the interface a stylish appearance.

Settings and Compatibility

To access the settings, you'll need to install Cloth Config (and Mod Menu for Fabric), but the mod is fully functional without them, using default parameters.

Important note: Default settings may not work correctly on some servers. In such cases, it's recommended to switch to the "Heuristic only" sender detection mode. Please note that this method may sometimes assign incorrect avatars to messages.

Compatibility warning: The mod is incompatible with newer versions of OptiFine (approximately from 1.20.1). Instead, it's recommended to use alternatives like Sodium and related mods.
