ChatContentModifier

This mod enables Minecraft servers to modify chat content sent by players using the Chat Preview feature introduced in version 1.19.

The core functionality is fully customizable text replacement in chat with regular expression support. This provides numerous useful applications:

• Automatic conversion of special words into symbols, such as replacing the text emoji :smiley: with the graphical ☺
• Real-time correction of common misspellings during communication: theyre transforms into proper they're
• Adding special characters for formatting, for example replacing $$ with the § symbol, allowing players to use color codes in their messages (this symbol is normally impossible to type in chat)

All configuration is handled through the mod's configuration file located in the world/serverconfig folder. The mod operates exclusively server-side - clients don't need to install it.

The current version is built for Forge, though a Fabric port may be released if there's sufficient demand.
