More Affordable Leather Armor
This data pack offers a simple solution to the high cost of leather armor in Minecraft. In the standard game, crafting leather armor requires substantial amounts of leather, making their production less advantageous compared to iron armor.
How It Works
The modification alters crafting recipes by replacing leather with a more accessible resource - rabbit hide. Now all types of leather armor are created using rabbit hides instead of regular leather. Additionally, the ability to convert one piece of leather back into nine rabbit hides has been added.
Key Changes
- Leather chestplate, leggings, helmet, and boots are crafted using rabbit hides
- Leather horse armor also uses rabbit hides
- One piece of leather can be broken down into 9 rabbit hides
Installation Process
Navigate to your saves folder at the following path:
C:\Users\your_name\AppData\Roaming.minecraft\saves
Place the archived file in the data packs folder, then either reload your world or execute the /reload command
