Chickensaurs - Descendants of Chicken in the Nether

The Chickensaurs mod introduces to Minecraft the evolutionary descendants of regular chickens, forced to adapt to hellish conditions. Due to fierce competition with piglins and hoglins in the Crimson Forest, these creatures have found an unexpected refuge in the Soul Sand Valley.

These creatures display remarkable adaptations:

• Skeletons are hunted by packs of chickensaurs that use their serrated beaks to decapitate them. Clever players can take advantage of this to obtain skeleton skulls.
• Due to the high iron content in their diet, chickensaurs' beaks and feathers are coated in metal, the excess of which can be gathered using a brush.
• When a player or piglin approaches, chickensaurs attempt to scare away unwelcome visitors by emitting soulfire from their comb. If contact becomes too close, they will attack.
• Baby chickensaurs can be tamed, healed, and bred using bones. Tamed individuals receive a dyable leg band and can be saddled and ridden! Loyal pets will fight alongside their owner.
