Chimera Origin

Addon for the Origins mod that introduces the chimera background into the game.

"Born quite weak, chimeras survive and adapt by altering their body parts and mimicking other creatures"

Gameplay Features

You start with 2 fewer hearts than other players and can only consume meat. However, you have a fundamental advantage - 5 body modification slots where you can install parts from other creatures, significantly expanding your abilities.

Modification Types

Core Modules

• Chimera Prime Core: Removes penalties when switching modifications, reduces cooldown time after installing new parts
• Blaze Core: Provides fire resistance, lava vision, faster movement in lava, keeps you constantly burning. Water causes damage
• Dragon Heart: Adds 6 extra hearts and improves health regeneration
• Prismarine Core: Provides underwater breathing, enhanced vision in water, fast movement in water, and removes block breaking slowdown underwater
• Omnivore Stomach: Allows consumption of all food types, including those normally available only to mobs
• Silverfish Stomach: Enables eating any block, granting random effects (mostly negative)

Active Abilities (2 slots)

• Mage Killer: Temporarily disables all active abilities of other players within range
• Ravager Horns: Charge attack that deals damage and knocks back the target
• Slime Tentacles: Pull/push entities
• Squid Tentacles: Release ink cloud that blinds and slows enemies
• Warden Vocal Cords: Warden's sound wave attack
• Llama Glands: Spit at targets like a llama

Passive Abilities (2 slots)

• Allay Larynx: Discounts when trading with villagers
• Cave Spider Fangs: Chance to poison target on hit
• Creeper Skin: Slowly become invisible when stationary
• Dragon Scales: Damage resistance
• Horse Muscles: Increased movement speed
• Ocelot Paws: Reduced fall damage
• Phantom Eyes: Night vision
• Warden Claws: Faster block breaking
