Chirpy's Wildlife - Diversity of Animal Life in Minecraft

This mod significantly expands Minecraft's fauna by adding 74 different species of animals, birds, insects, and marine creatures to the game. The world becomes more lively and diverse with the appearance of new creatures in different biomes.

Main Features

The mod offers many interesting functions for interacting with animals. Small creatures can be caught and released with a simple right-click. It's especially amusing that captured animals can be placed on your head or displayed in item frames.

Among the unique features are individual songs for each species of songbird and rare albino variants of animals. For nature enthusiasts, there's an encyclopedia with detailed descriptions and illustrations of all added creatures.

Technical Requirements

The mod requires Geckolib for Fabric. The encyclopedia requires Patchouli installation, but this is optional. The mod only supports Fabric loader.

Added Creatures

Birds

The world will feature bluebirds, black-capped chickadees, cottonbirds, scarlet flycatchers, goldfinches, lark buntings, meadowlarks, orioles, phoebes, robins, sparrows, swallows, towhees, white-eyed vireos, and wrens.

Mammals

Among the new mammals: anteaters, armadillos, badgers, beavers, boars, capybaras, deer, ferrets, hamsters, hedgehogs, monkeys, porcupines, and possums.

Reptiles

The world will feature chameleons, geckos, grass snakes, iguanas, king snakes, milk snakes, pythons, and alligators.

Fish and Marine Creatures

Water spaces will be filled with goldfish, betta fish, bluegill, catfish, koi, shrimp, seahorses, jellyfish, glow jellyfish, sea urchins, clams, horseshoe crabs, starfish, sand dollars, stingrays, manta rays, anglerfish, hammerhead sharks, and rainbow trout.

Insects and Arthropods

The insect world is represented by ants, crickets, dragonflies, glasswing butterflies, june beetles, ladybugs, monarch butterflies, blue morpho butterflies, rhino beetles, snails, spicebush butterflies, spiders, staghorn beetles, stickbugs, sunflower beetles, tiger swallowtail butterflies, crabs, and hermit crabs.

Additional Features

With Patchouli, you can obtain the encyclopedia by using a book on any animal from the mod. A configuration file is also available for adjusting spawn locations and frequency of creatures.

Small animals can be placed in item frames, creating unique decorative compositions.
