Chlorophytic
Deep within lush caves, between levels Y:8 and Y:-48, you can find an extremely rare ore - chlorophyte. To mine it, you'll need a diamond pickaxe, which will yield several chlorophyte nuggets. These nuggets can be smelted into ingots or used to create chlorophyte seeds.
Chlorophyte seeds are planted in clay, where they gradually sprout into a chlorophyte bud that eventually transforms into full-fledged ore. The growth process occurs randomly, so the exact development time cannot be predicted. If you need to relocate the planting, the bud can be safely broken by hand or with a shovel to retrieve the seeds and some clay.
When the ore fully matures, mining it with a diamond pickaxe will yield 4 to 8 clay balls and 5 to 8 chlorophyte nuggets. The number of dropped nuggets is always sufficient to create new seeds, and the Fortune enchantment will increase their yield.
To work with chlorophyte, you need to find a smithing template for the upgrade in jungle temples (66% chance in each chest) or in mineshafts (8.3% chance in chests). The template can be duplicated using jungle logs and a chlorophyte ingot. After obtaining the template, simply upgrade a diamond tool by applying it together with a chlorophyte ingot.
Chlorophyte tools have slightly higher durability than diamond ones and restore it under direct sunlight. They can be repaired using the Mending enchantment or on an anvil using chlorophyte ingots.
