ChocoCraft 3 (MC 1.12.2)

This mod introduces rideable creatures called Chocobos, inspired by the Final Fantasy series. These creatures feature diverse colors, characteristics, and special attributes.

Basic varieties of Chocobos can be found in the wild. To tame them, you'll need Gysahl Greens—special plants that also grow naturally. These plants can be cultivated on farms using Gysahl Seeds. Seeds are obtained by crafting from Gysahl Greens or by harvesting mature plants.

For breeding Chocobos, use a Lovely Gysahl. After mating, the female lays an egg that must be placed in a nest. With sufficient space, a Chicobo—a juvenile Chocobo—will hatch. Chicobos are born wild and require taming. Young individuals inherit traits from their parents (which may improve or deteriorate) and can mutate to acquire new colors. There are also methods to change the color of adult specimens, though these don't work for all Chocobo types.

Developer's Note: The mod was originally developed for my modpack, but updates are published for everyone. I periodically release new versions and am open to collaboration in development.
