Choup's Drakvyrn Mod

Choup's Drakvyrn Mod introduces Drakvyrns into the game - dragon-like creatures that are smaller in size but incredibly cool.

🔧 Required Dependencies

To run the mod, you'll need to install Geckolib and Curios API in compatible versions. It's also recommended to add JEI for crafting convenience!

If you use Epic Fight, download an additional datapack for full compatibility.

🐉 Drakvyrns

Love adventures? Then set out to find the rare ancient structure - Drakvyrn Hand, resembling a tower. Inside awaits an Ancient Egg. You can either break it to collect or hatch it by right-clicking to get a Drakvyrn. Fight it to obtain Drakvyrn Essence. To spawn the Nether version, bring the egg to the Nether and hatch it there!

Alternative method - craft a Drakvyrn Amulet. The recipe is expensive, but it allows you to summon a Wild Drakvyrn anywhere. After summoning, choose: fight or tame it using Raw or Cooked Meat on a Bone (the latter is more difficult). Control your tamed Drakvyrn with the Ancient Ring. Right-click with it to switch between modes: Stay, Follow, Aggressive, Rideable.

After death, Drakvyrn drops Essence in a Bottle (for summoning tamed version), Scales for armor, Bones for tools, Ignition Breath for creating a staff and Ignition Potion.

There are 8 color variations, including two Nether ones (Warped and Crimson).

🦎 Draklets

Draklets spawn in forest biomes (Birch, Dark, Flower, Old Growth Birch, Regular Forest) in small nests. Always in groups of three. Dangerous: inflict poison damage and are very fast!

Tamed with Raw or Cooked Meat on a Bone. Controlled by Ancient Ring with three modes: Follow, Aggressive, Stay.

When killed, drop Draklet Scute for armor that provides permanent Resistance I effect when fully equipped. Also drops Draklet Tooth for creating strong poison potion or, combined with rare Draklet Horn - Draklet Dagger! "Poisonous" enchantment enhances the weapon's poisoning effect.

💎 Draves

Draves are massive creatures with small wings that cannot fly due to their cave-dwelling habitat. Come in 5 colors: amethyst, topaz, emerald, sapphire, ruby.

When killed, drop Crystal Powder for creating Crystallised Iron Tools and, if lucky, Intact Geode. Geode can also be obtained by feeding the Drake with Raw or Cooked Meat on a Bone. Break it on the ground to get the hidden loot!

Crystallised Iron Tools are more durable and efficient than regular iron tools.

❄️ Drozens

Drozens are friendly Draves that inhabit Snow Plains and Groves in their nests. Tamed with Frozen Meat on a Bone, can be ridden. Run fast, cannot jump, walk on water! Attack back if hit. Be careful!

When killed, drop Eternal Frost for creating The Eternal Frosted Blade and Drozen Horn for Drozen Spear, which can be upgraded to Frozed Drozen Spear.

⚠️ Important Information

The mod is in BETA stage: there might be bugs with animations, AI, tags. Report any issues!

Future plans include mod improvements and adding new creatures, but the main content is already complete!
