Christmas Spirit: Modern
Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of winter holidays with this mod filled with festive decorations! Experience the true Christmas spirit in Minecraft through various features like gift-giving, Christmas tree decorating, holiday baking, and much more.
This mod is perfect for playing with friends thanks to the gift system. Simply install it and in December (or any other suitable time) run a command to activate daily presents.
Key Features
World Changes
When this mod is installed, all biomes (except oceans) become covered with snow and ice, creating a winter wonderland. This feature can be disabled in the settings.
Important to remember: snow only melts from light emitted by blocks. Sunlight does not melt snow!
Musical Atmosphere
Minecraft's default music is replaced with 11 Christmas compositions by Kevin Macleod (free to use). Themed music discs are also added, including "Minecraft Christmas" and "Wish Backing".
Baking and Sweets
Master the art of making gingerbread, sugar cookies, peppermint candies, soda, and even Sprite Cranberry. These treats provide special effects.
Festive Decorations
Create garlands, wreaths, candy cane blocks, Christmas lights, ornaments, stockings, frosted glass, and much more to transform your world into a holiday wonderland.
Gift System
Create unsigned presents, place any items inside them, choose the wrapping color, opening date, and recipient. This allows you to set specific dates when the present can be opened.
Santa's Surprises
Every day when you log in, you receive a present from Santa with a random surprise inside. The chances of getting better gifts improve when accumulating the "Holiday Spirit" effect.
Naughty and Nice
A behavior evaluation system tracks your in-game actions. Misdeeds (killing baby animals, players, cats, dogs) lead to the "Naughty" effect. Upon reaching 5 levels of this effect, you're placed on the naughty list and receive coal instead of valuable items.
However, naughty players have their own advantages - they can trade with Jack Frost to obtain frostborne ingots for creating powerful weapons and armor. To return to the nice list, you'll need to eat a special Santa cookie.

For complete immersion in the Christmas atmosphere, it's recommended to install the corresponding resource pack.
