Claim My Land
A territory protection mod for Minecraft that started as the simple "Protect It!" project and evolved into an advanced land management system. The main advantage is complete freedom in plot sizes without being tied to standard 16×16 chunks.
Land Plots (Parcels)
Instead of limited sizes, you can create plots of any shape and dimensions — for example, 24×37×101 blocks. Vertical dimensions are also fully customizable and don't occupy the entire world height.
Plot Types
Player Plot — the standard option that can be placed anywhere except in nations with closed borders.
Nation Territory — large zones where the owner can create internal plots for citizens and zones. Nation borders can be open (access for everyone) or closed (only for citizens).
Zones within Nations — special areas where players can claim land. Created only by nation owners through commands or tools.
Citizen Plots — personal territories within nations or zones, available only to citizens of the corresponding nation.
Ownership Rights
Each plot has one owner who has full control over their territory. You can configure a whitelist of players with similar access rights.
Abandoned Plots
Owners can abandon their plots, after which they become available for capture by any player. Reclaiming requires a deed of the appropriate type and size.
Land Deeds
Special items for creating and securing plots. Use a deed in a free area to place a foundation stone and see the boundaries of the future plot. Using the deed again on the stone secures the territory for you.
Obtaining Deeds
Deeds cannot be crafted — they are intended for distribution by administrators, as rewards, or through other mods. Administrators and nation owners can generate deeds through commands.
Deed Types
- Player Deed — for regular plots and abandoned citizen territories in nations with open borders
- Citizen Deed — for plots within zones or abandoned territories in your own nation
- Nation Deed — for creating large territorial formations
Note: zones are created only by nation owners through commands or special tools.
Deed Sizes
Sizes are fully customizable across four parameters: X, Up, Down, Z. This allows flexible definition of vertical boundaries relative to the foundation stone placement location.
Example: size = 10 10 10 10, stone position = 100 Plot is defined as (100 90 100) → (110 109 110)
Pre-made Deeds
For convenience, pre-configured deeds of standard sizes are available in creative mode: 10×10×10×10, 16×16×16×16, 32×32×32×32 for regular plots and 100×100, 200×200 for nations.
Foundation Stones
Placed only by deeds and show the boundaries of future plots. Breaking the stone removes the boundaries. Stones automatically disappear after 5 minutes (by default) to avoid visual pollution.
Foundation stones cannot be crafted and don't appear in creative tabs.
Border Stones and Boundaries
Border stones are similar to foundation stones but only serve to display boundaries of existing plots without the ability to claim them.
Boundaries and Buffer Zones
Border blocks form a wireframe around plots with colors by type:
- Regular — green
- Nations — blue
- Citizens — purple
- Zones — yellow
When intersecting with other plots, borders become red. Plots of the same owner can touch without restrictions.
Buffer blocks show the minimum distance between plots and are displayed in white (red when intersecting).
Tools
Nation owners receive two special tools:
- Zone Placement Tool
- Citizen Placement Tool
Both work similarly: first use places a marker, second use defines plot boundaries. Minimum size in any direction is 2 blocks.
