Get Rid of Chat Spam When Logging In!

This mod automatically blocks all non-standard chat messages for a certain period after the world loads. By default, this period is 1 second, but it can be changed in the settings.

The main purpose of the mod is to remove annoying notifications that appear when starting the game: messages about new versions (even though Forge has had a built-in notification system for a long time), compatibility ads with various wiki systems, links to authors' social networks, and other unnecessary spam.

Important Note: If a mod developer specifically tries to bypass the protection, they can do so quite easily. Fortunately, most authors respect their users and do not resort to such methods.

If spam still appears: first check the latest log file. If the message [Cleanse]: Restored ability to add new chat lines appears before the spam message is sent, it means either you have a very large modpack, or the mod sends the message with a delay. In this case, simply increase the blocking time in the settings.

Usage in Modpacks

The mod is distributed under the MIT license, which means free use for any purposes. The license file is already included in the JAR archive, so you don't need to take any additional actions.
