ClearConfirm - Protection Against Accidental Inventory Clearing
About the Modification
The ClearConfirm mod was specifically designed to prevent accidental deletion of items from players' inventories. Server administrators can sometimes mistakenly use the /clear command and inadvertently deprive participants of their valuable belongings. This simple but effective solution eliminates such risks.
If you or another server staff member attempt to clear an inventory using the standard /clear command, the mod won't allow it to happen immediately. Instead, additional confirmation will be required, providing an extra layer of security for players and their possessions.
How It Works
When using the traditional item clearing command, the system blocks the operation from executing. To confirm the intention to clear the inventory, the administrator needs to enter a special verification command:
/clearconfirm
Only after executing this confirmation command will the inventory be successfully cleared.
Permission Settings
To access the confirmation clearing capability, you need to have the standard game permission:
minecraft.command.clear - The main permission that grants the right to use the confirmation command.
The mod features simple installation and setup, doesn't require complex configurations, and integrates well with any Minecraft servers.
