Cloud Storage
This mod provides cloud storage with unlimited capacity for items, accessible from anywhere in the game world.
Requires Immibis Core, as well as APIs for EU, MJ, and RF — typically provided by mods like IC2, Buildcraft, and CoFH Core, but other options are possible.
How to Use Cloud Storage
To access the storage, use the "/cloud" command. The interface resembles an ME Access Terminal. The scrollbar is not implemented — use the search bar instead. Minor desynchronization may occur in the interface. Items with NBT data cannot be stored in the cloud.
VPN Tool: Interacting with Machines
The VPN Tool allows technical blocks to interact with your cloud storage.
Crafted shapelessly from dirt and redstone. Right-clicking air changes modes. Right-clicking a block side shows current settings. Shift+right-clicking a block side (in the appropriate mode) changes its configuration.
Actions set via the VPN Tool only occur when you are online.
Available modes:
- Nothing (disables effects)
- Extract items — takes everything that can be extracted from that side
- Insert items — sends specific items into the block. Configuration opens an interface for selecting filters
- Extract RF — draws energy from Energy Cells. The cloud can store vast amounts of RF. The side must be in output mode
- Insert RF — powers the machine with RF energy
- Extract EU — draws energy from batboxes, CESUs, MFEs, and MFSUs. The cloud holds enormous amounts of EU. Works on any block side
- Insert EU — transfers energy based on the machine's maximum EU/t rating. Applying this to multiple sides will cause an explosion — avoid this
- Insert MJ — converts EU or RF to MJ and powers the machine
VPN Copier: Copying Settings
The VPN Copier is crafted shapelessly from two units of dirt and redstone.
Shift+right-clicking a block copies its settings, then right-clicking another block pastes them. This simplifies mass configuration of identical mechanisms.
