Compact Help Command (Legacy Fabric)

This mod requires the Collective (Fabric) library and Fabric API.

This is a special version for Fabric 1.16 and 1.17. All updates and new files are now available on the main project page.

The Compact Help Command mod solves the problem with the /help command in Minecraft, which often works incorrectly. Without the modification, the command list appears as a long list of white text without alphabetical sorting. When installing multiple mods, the list may exceed the maximum allowed text length, leading to information loss.

With this mod, the long command list is sorted and divided into pages. Using the command /help <page>, you can browse all available commands, which now display using different colors for better readability. Text colors and the number of commands per page can be configured through the configuration file.

Settings

addVerticalBarSpacing (default = true): Adds spaces around the vertical bar in subcommands.

amountCommandsPerPage (default = 8, minimum 1, maximum 50): Number of commands displayed on one page.

Possible color code values: 0: black, 1: dark_blue, 2: dark_green, 3: dark_aqua, 4: dark_red, 5: dark_purple, 6: gold, 7: gray, 8: dark_gray, 9: blue, 10: green, 11: aqua, 12: red, 13: light_purple, 14: yellow, 15: white.

commandColour (default = 2, minimum 0, maximum 15): Color of the main command in /help.

subcommandColour (default = 7, minimum 0, maximum 15): Color of subcommands in /help.
