Compact Machines - Mod for Creating Miniature Rooms
The main feature of this mod lies in compact machines - special blocks containing entire rooms inside. This allows placing complex technical constructions directly within a single block, significantly saving space in your world.
New System in Version 7.0
Compact Machines 7 introduced the "Room Templates" system, which gives modpack developers complete control over machine and room types through datapacks. Currently, standard room sizes have been moved to the mod's built-in datapack.
Previous Tunnel System
In versions prior to CM7, tunnels were used to create connections between the internal space of compact machines and their external faces. Any face could only be connected to one tunnel of a specific type, while allowing placement of up to six tunnels of each kind within the room.
