Tired of constant clutter in your inventory? This mod will help you organize and free up valuable slots!
What does the mod do?
Compress It! allows you to store various items compactly by combining them into special blocks and bundles. No more carrying around scattered doors, slabs, carpets, arrows, and other items - just compress them!
Compatibility
- Fabric and Quilt: Minecraft versions 1.19.x - 1.20.x (versions v2-v3)
- Forge: Minecraft versions 1.19.x - 1.20.x (versions v2+)
- Required: Fabric API for Fabric version
Note: Versions for Minecraft 1.18.x and older Forge versions are no longer supported.
Crafting Conflict Resolution
If conflicts arise with other mods, it's recommended to install the Polymorph mod for automatic recipe conflict resolution.

Bundles and Packages
- Bundles: 9 sticks, bones, bamboo, blaze rods, name tags, rotten flesh, kelp, torches, leather, sugar cane
- Bags: 9 feathers, gunpowder, flint, nether warts, saplings
- Packs: 9 candles, paper, arrows, eggs, mushrooms, potatoes, carrots
- Jars: 9 spider eyes, fermented spider eyes, slime balls, sugar, cocoa beans
- Special: 8 ender pearls, 4 ghast tears
New Blocks
Mojang forgot to add these blocks, so we added them ourselves:
- Block of Charcoal
- Charcoal Slab
- Coal Slab

To view all recipes, it's recommended to use REI or similar mods:
Converting items to blocks:
- 2 slabs → 1 block
- 2 stairs → 2 blocks
- 3 carpets → 2 wool blocks
- 8 glass panes → 3 glass blocks
Reverse conversion:
- 1 door → 2 blocks/ingots
- 1 trapdoor → 3 blocks/ingots
- 1 pressure plate → 2 blocks/ingots
- 1 glass bottle → 1 glass block
- 1 wall → 1 block
- 1 boat → 5 blocks
- 1 bucket → 3 iron ingots
Other useful recipes:
- 8 colored wool + white dye → 8 white wool
- 3 ladders → 7 sticks
- 3 bone meal → 1 bone
- 2 blaze powder → 1 blaze rod
- 1 white wool → 4 strings
- 1 cobweb → 1 string
- 1 block of quartz → 4 quartz
