CompressedItems
The CompressedItems mod offers an amazing capability to compress virtually any items in the Minecraft world! In a regular crafting grid, you can combine 9 identical items and obtain their compressed version. This is a revolutionary solution to storage problems - you can now store up to 576 regular items in just one stack!
Compressed fuels maintain their properties but burn 9 times longer than their regular counterparts - a perfect solution for extended smelting processes.
Compression Settings
You can fine-tune which specific item categories can be compressed:
- All items
- Stones and minerals
- Food products
- Building blocks
- Dyes and pigments
- Fuel resources
- Miscellaneous items
Starting from version 1.1, the system operates using the "can_be_compressed" tag. Any item marked with this tag becomes available for compression.
Working Process
- Check the item description - if it supports compression, this will be indicated in the tooltip
- Arrange 9 identical items in a 3×3 square pattern on the crafting table
- Receive the compressed version as the crafting result
To restore the original items, simply place the compressed item back on the crafting table!
