Compromise

The Compromise mod allows players to configure additional languages for game localization. When translations are missing in the primary selected language, the system automatically checks alternative languages in the specified order instead of defaulting to English.

Configuration Settings

Configuration file locations depend on version and loader type:

• For Forge 1.12.2: .minecraft\config\compromise.cfg
• For Forge 1.16.5 and newer: .minecraft\config\compromise-client.toml
• For Fabric: .minecraft\config\compromise.toml

License and Special Conditions

Compromise is distributed under the GNU-AGPL-3.0-only license.

Developers do not allow integration of the mod into modifications that alter modpack behavior (such as Un*al Twks or Deb**y), and prohibit using the mod in commercial modpacks that require payment from players.

Important Information

Adding the mod to modpacks is permitted and encouraged.
