ConRad's Scary Spiders - Terrifying Spiders for Minecraft

This mod transforms ordinary Minecraft spiders into true hunter-killers that will pursue you at every step. They feature advanced AI, can sense players from great distances, hunt animals and villagers, and reproduce by bringing prey to their "mother".

Six Types of Deadly Spiders

Camouflaging Scary Spider - master of disguise hiding in caves, plains, deserts, savannas and jungles. They're almost impossible to spot before they attack. If you step on such a spider, it instantly attacks. Run and hope some pig or chicken distracts its attention!

Venomous Spider - nest defender that shoots poisonous projectiles. Hits cause poisoning, misses create poisonous clouds. Upon death, the spider explodes forming another toxic cloud. We recommend stocking up on milk before visiting their nests.

Catcher Spider - dangerous only near the mother. In her presence, it grabs victims and carries them to her. Also catches animals and villagers for breeding kin. Without the mother, simply tosses victims dealing almost no damage.

Phasing Scary Spider - disappears in a cloud of End particles, becoming invisible for 8 seconds. The most dangerous hunter in the game, capable of terrifying jumpscares. Becomes visible when attacking.

Leaching Spider - smaller in size but more aggressive. Lives in caves, feeds on bats, but loves drinking player blood. When attacking, it attaches to your face! Also drops gold and iron nuggets.

Mother Scary Spider - boss with armor made of netherite scraps (drops lots, can get netherite without leaving overworld). Difficult to kill, creates offspring, spits webs you definitely don't want to get stuck in. Running from her is terrifying - must dodge projectiles.

Dungeons and Structures

Large and Small Spider Nests - contain valuable loot: enchanted books and emeralds spiders stole from killed villagers.

Villager in Web - captives waiting to be eaten. Can be freed with right-click, but be careful - if spiders are nearby, they'll instantly eat the freed villager.

Weapons and Gadgets

Cobweb Gun - drops from Mother, shoots webs (uses cobwebs as ammunition). Excellent for catching prey or slowing pursuers.

Venom Gun - drops from Venomous Spiders, adds more toxicity to the world!

Spider Goggles - made from Scary Spider eyes and observer, allow seeing in infrared spectrum and detecting hidden mobs.

Spider Exoskeleton Chestplate - made from anvil, tripwires, redstone block and Catcher Spider legs. Gives haste and jump boost, allows sliding down walls and climbing them (hold Shift to ascend).

Spider Exoskeleton Helmet - made from anvil, tripwires, redstone block, slime and Catcher Spider legs. Allows picking up entities (right and left click), but only villagers and animals.

Spider Meat

Raw - extremely poisonous, cooked - gives speed and jump boost.
