Contact

The Contact modification provides a complete postal service in the Minecraft world, allowing you to send parcels and postcards to friends, as well as receive mail.

Main Features

Postcards - you can write text like in a book and quill. Various postcard styles are available, as well as the ability to create your own designs (requires version 0.3.1 or higher). Postcards can be purchased from Wandering Traders. Content cannot be modified after sending.

Wrapping Paper - used for packing parcels. Has 4 inventory slots for items.

Mailbox - designed for receiving mail. To bind a mailbox, crouch and right-click with empty hands. You will receive a notification when mail arrives.

Central Mailbox - for players who haven't bound a personal mailbox. Can only be placed by server operators.

Postbox for Sending - used for sending parcels and postcards. The recipient's name may auto-complete but sometimes contains errors.

Ender Mail - delivered instantly.

Compatibility Requirements

The Forge version requires Silveroak Outpost.

The Fabric version requires Silveroak Outpost and Fabric API. MidnightLib is already included in the mod.

The Forge version for 1.20.1 will be released later.

If you have your own postcard backgrounds, you can suggest them for addition to the mod.
