Continuity Unofficial Port - Connected Textures Implementation Without OptiFine for Minecraft Players An unofficial port of the popular Continuity mod for users of version 1.16, which expands the capabilities of texture packs in the Fabric environment. The original solution was created by Pepper_Bell, with adaptation by PlayReissLP.
What can the Continuity Unofficial Port mod do?
The modification successfully emulates some OptiFine features, allowing texture packs designed for that engine to function in a pure Fabric environment.
Key capabilities:
- Loading connected textures in the OptiFine format
- Displaying emissive textures for blocks and item models (except in certain cases)
- Working with custom block layers

Continuity includes two example packs:
Default Connected Textures— contains examples of connected textures for glass, sandstone, and bookshelvesGlass Pane Culling Fix— optimizes the display of glass panes, eliminating artifacts when using connected textures

Compatibility limitations
- Continuity is a client-side only mod and requires Fabric API to be installed
- Not compatible with ModernFix
- To work with the optimization mod Sodium, Indium must be installed additionally, otherwise Continuity will not function
