Convivium
Convivium - A Mod for Hosting Feasts
This project emerged as an extension of our culinary mod Caupona. Initially, we planned to add a beverage system and related mechanics directly into the main mod, but decided to separate them into a standalone addition to maintain gameplay balance.
Feature Showcase

World Generation
Camellia

Camellia bushes can be found in bamboo jungles. Their shoots are used to make tea, while the seeds serve as an alternative source of vegetable oil alongside walnuts from Caupona.
Kitchenware

The mod introduces a new kinetic energy system. An aeolipile placed on a heated pot with water generates mechanical power that is transmitted through gears to operate devices within a 9×9 block radius.
Basin

The basin is a vessel that requires only heat, not kinetic energy, to operate. It evaporates water from liquids, extracting their solid components.
Mortar and Pestle

These tools are used for juicing ingredients and grinding them into powder.
Whisk

Whisks are designed for beverage brewing. By combining various ingredients with base liquids, you can create new drinks with special effects. Proper ingredient combinations are required to maximize these effects.
Aqueduct

Aqueducts are multiblock structures that transport Caupona dishes and soups, beverages, and other items downstream. Operation requires a kinetically powered wave maker block. Aqueducts also serve as excellent decorative elements.
Decorative Features
Placeable Bottles

All beverages, including standard potions, can be placed in the world using Shift + Right Click. Placement of vanilla potions can be disabled in configuration if needed.
Beverage Vending Machine

These machines accept a preset number of asses (currency from Caupona) in exchange for a quarter bucket of fluid. Any fluids are supported, including Caupona soups.
Fruit Platter
Fruit platters provide a way to display items, particularly fruits, with customization options. For fruits, special models are displayed, while other items show standard models.
Datapack and Extension Support
All recipes and processes can be modified or added through datapacks. Most features are configurable. We use a tag-based system that simplifies adding new support.
