Minecart Acceleration with Copper

This mod adds an interesting mechanic that significantly increases the speed of movement in minecarts. If you place any copper blocks (including stairs and slabs) under rails, all players traveling in minecarts will move three times faster.

It's important to note that the acceleration works only for players, but not for empty minecarts or minecarts with other mobs. This is done specifically to not disrupt the operation of various mechanisms and constructions using minecarts.

Resource Savings in Crafting

The mod also makes crafting rails more profitable. Normal rails now yield 20 pieces instead of 16 when crafted, and powered rails yield 8 instead of 6. This allows you to save valuable resources when building railways.

Flexible Configuration

You can easily configure the mod parameters using the command /function m_copper_boost:config, which opens a settings menu directly in the chat. Here you can enable or disable the datapack, as well as change the acceleration value over copper blocks (default is set to 200%).

Note: Currently, the mod does not work on Paper servers due to a bug in Paper itself.
