The Copper Bulbs mod introduces realistic copper lamps to Minecraft that change their appearance and characteristics over time. These unique light sources go through four oxidation stages, each with different brightness levels.

The natural aging process takes about 5 minutes for each phase, meaning complete lamp oxidation occurs over 15 minutes of gameplay time. This creates a dynamic lighting system that evolves along with your builds.

Crafting copper lamps requires specific ingredients that allow players to easily add this decorative element to their construction material arsenal.

Interaction Features

Players can influence the oxidation process in two ways. Using an axe on the lamp allows returning it to the previous oxidation stage, restoring lighting brightness.

An alternative approach - using honey to coat the lamp with wax. This completely stops the oxidation process, allowing to preserve the current appearance and lighting level indefinitely.

The mod is designed for Minecraft version 1.21 and compatible with the Forge platform, ensuring stable operation and integration with other modifications.
