Copper Golem Mod

This mod is a compact addition that introduces two new elements to the game:

Copper Buttons

Created according to the concept from the Minecon 2021 mob vote, these buttons are made of copper and gradually undergo oxidation over time. An interesting feature is that oxidized copper buttons generate a longer pulse when pressed. Like other copper blocks, they can be cleaned of oxidation using an axe.

Copper Golems

What are copper buttons without corresponding copper golems? These friendly mechanical creatures can be created by the player themselves! Simply place a regular copper block, install a lightning rod on top of it, and place a copper button in front of the block. After pressing the button - voila! You get a little helper who will keep you company in your adventures.

Copper golems freely move around the area and press all encountered copper buttons. Over time, they oxidize and turn into statues. You can also give an item to the golem, and it will diligently look for where to use it - a true loyal assistant!

However, be careful with cats: if a copper golem meets a cat, it gets easily distracted. But who can blame it? After all, everyone loves cats!
