Craft An Elytra

This datapack adds the ability to craft elytras using a crafting table. The crafting recipe is logically justified and uses materials related to flight and magic.

To craft an elytra, you'll need the following components: phantom membranes (since they're used to repair elytras), feathers (chickens do kinda fly), string (to hold everything together), and dragon's breath (perhaps to give it magical power). The author admits not being entirely sure about the logic behind the last ingredient, but the recipe works perfectly!
