This is a modification I created last year that adds crafting bench stairs and slabs to the game.
In upcoming plans - updating to version 1.17 with changes to the crafting grid shape matching the block geometry. Now creating stairs will require placing materials in a triangular pattern: one item in the top slot, two in the second row, and three in the bottom, while slabs will be crafted from three items arranged in a single row instead of the traditional 3x3 square.
