Crafting Dead - Survival in a Post-Apocalyptic World
Crafting Dead is a large-scale Minecraft modification that originally appeared during version 1.5 and has evolved over the years into a full-fledged project with its own server infrastructure. The development was based on the well-known Ferullo's Gun Mod, one of the first mods to add firearms to the game.
Main Gameplay and Mechanics
The mod introduces several key elements into gameplay: various types of zombies, firearms, cosmetic items, and medical supplies. All weapons can be thoroughly customized with various attachments and camouflage patterns. The shooting mechanics are designed for comfortable gameplay - featuring accurate hit detection, network latency compensation, and realistic recoil.
To survive in the dangerous world, it's important to use medical items: first aid kits, adrenaline, and bandages. They help you quickly recover after encounters with enemies, provide an opportunity to escape pursuit, or counterattack.
Cosmetic items open up additional possibilities for character personalization.

For enthusiasts of extreme survival, there are additional modifications such as Crafting Dead Survival, which features expanded mechanics: the RBI infection system, broken legs, bleeding, as well as airdropped supplies and loot piles.
