Create: Blockchain - Digital Currency Generation

Create: Blockchain is a modification focused on generating in-game currency. It requires two additional mods: Create: Numismatics and Create: Additions. This development aims to solve economic issues that arise when using Numismatics, which doesn't provide ways to increase money supply without using creative shops.

The main element of the mod is a special miner block that, when supplied with FE energy (not to be confused with SU from Create!), produces coins at a configurable rate. As a certain number of coins are mined, the generation cost gradually increases, requiring players to carefully manage their miners for maximum efficiency.

Miner Operation Features

The miner is a multi-sided block: energy is supplied from the sides, and finished coins exit from the back. The block functions as a Create vault, from which items can be extracted using funnels or similar mechanisms.

Heat System

The miner's temperature increases proportionally to the amount of energy consumed at any given moment. The block can cool itself using surrounding air, but for high-speed operation, water or special coolant must be supplied through the top of the miner.

Special Coolant

The mod features a unique fluid created by mixing water, ice, and powdered obsidian in a heated container. This coolant is significantly more effective than water but requires more resources to produce. Can you automate this process?

Mining Cores and Geodes

Miner operation requires special mining cores. Without an installed core, the miner cannot function. To prevent mass production of miners, cores have no crafting recipe and spawn inside unique geodes that can be found approximately every 30 chunks. Cores have limited durability - when reaching zero value, the core becomes unusable, and players must search for new ones. Cores can also be found in buried treasure chests and trial chamber vaults.

Core Finder Tool

Players can now craft a special remote that charges using the Tesla coil from Create: Additions or other compatible FE charging blocks. After charging, the remote sends a search signal and emits a sound allowing players to determine distance to the nearest mining core. This makes finding rare cores a feasible task.

Piggy Banks

Piggy banks can be found in most standard overworld chests - they contain random amounts of coins!

Updated Design

The appearance of mining cores has been completely redesigned thanks to excellent models by EeebsieKats, while items received new artwork from talented pixel artist DJRaj! Huge thanks to these two authors for their contribution - without them the mod wouldn't look as impressive!
