Create: Components and Additions

This addon for the Create mod was originally developed for the Create+ modpack. It expands the capabilities of the original mod with several useful blocks and mechanics.

Main Features

Brass Gearbox

The main innovation of the mod is the brass gearbox. By right-clicking any of its sides with brass casing, that side becomes covered. This completely blocks rotation transfer (both input and output) through the blocked side. You can block any number of sides - from one to all four, turning the gearbox into a decorative brass casing.

Inverted Blocks

The mod adds two inverted blocks: inverted gearshift and inverted clutch. They function similarly to their standard Create counterparts but activate under opposite conditions.

• Inverted Gearshift reverses rotation direction when NOT receiving a redstone signal and acts as a regular shaft when powered.
• Inverted Clutch stops rotation transfer when not receiving a redstone signal and functions as a shaft when powered.

These blocks are particularly useful for creating more compact mechanisms and preventing accidental activation of neighboring redstone-sensitive blocks.

Inverted blocks can be obtained in two ways: through crafting or by right-clicking standard versions with a redstone torch. The same method allows converting them back.

Decorative Brass Blocks

For aesthetic variety, the mod includes several decorative brass blocks:

• Brass encased chain drive with corresponding gearshift
• Brass basin that more closely resembles a brass block than standard casing

Note: Currently, the brass basin may function incorrectly and not fully replicate standard basin functionality. This issue will be addressed in upcoming updates.

Additional Recipes and Mechanics

• Sequenced assembly for cogwheels - added a new recipe for creating cogwheels through sequenced assembly. The exact recipe can be viewed in the mod's gallery.

• Berry crushing - when crushing sweet berries or glow berries, there's a 25% chance to get additional seeds. This chance increases with the berry good mod installed.
