How This Mod Works

This simple data pack is a compatibility addon between Create: Deco and several other modifications, including Create: Crafts Additions and Create: Dreams & Desires. It doesn't have its own crafting recipes — instead, it simply replaces Create: Deco's system tags with standard, official versions.

For example, in JEI or REI you might have seen tags like "$createdeco:internal/plates/zinc" for zinc plates from Create: Deco. This data pack replaces them with universal options: "#forge:plates/zinc" or "#c:zinc_sheets" depending on your mod loader.

Why This Is Needed

Until now, Create Deco used its own system of internal tags ("#createdeco:internal/..."), which meant that only items from Create Deco tags could be used in corresponding recipes. Other mods naturally don't add tags specifically for Create Deco!

This caused conflicts, for example with Create Crafts & Additions: both modifications added zinc sheets and recipes for obtaining them under a press. When trying to get a zinc sheet, the system always chose the same variant, making some items from the other modification unreachable.

With this data pack, you can use items from both modifications for crafting.

Also fixed is a github-issue #124 bug with compatibility between mods.

Important: This data pack can be freely used in any modpack, but once a new version of Create Deco with built-in compatibility is released, it's better to switch to the official solution.
